  15. We've noticed in our videoconferencing application that if we start
  16. transmitting data immediately after the modems connect, we loose
  17. data. Is this normal? Why does it happen? What should we do about it?
  18. For example, is there a standard period to wait after connection
  19. before data should be transmitted?
